Bottle Size: 75.00 cl

The Rousseau family own the entire Clos des Ruchottes (Monopole) which extends to 2.5 acres. Charles has handed over the reins to son, Eric, who continues the traditions of making classsic Burgundy, rather than heavily worked, heavily oaked show-stoppers. This wine is for drinking - not parading. 18 months in oak, with around 20% of it new. Finesse and feminity: soft red fruit and elegance. Text-book.

We wholeheartedly pin our name to this fresh, effusive Champagne with its appealing, citrusy fruit.

Inviting aromas of sweet, dried cranberries and warm earth, and a fresh palate of ripe red summer fruits.
