Cuvée 2, Minervois, Hegarty Chamans
Gold medal winning winemaker Samuel Berger provides this big, baked fruit, pepper and spice delight.
Red meat wine, with grip and power: big, dense baked fruit flavours, pepper and spice. Burgundian winemaker Samuel Berger had a baptism of fire in his first vintage at advertising mogul John Hegarty's Carcassonne estate, a state-of-the-art, environmentally-friendly amphitheatre of vines facing the Montagne Noire. This succulent Grenache-Syrah- Carignan blend is aged in huge oak foudres.
