Rioja Crianza 'Monte Acuro', The Adnams Selection
Made from traditional grape varieties and matured for 14 months in oak. This is a classic, mellow Rioja
Bodegas Medievo is situated in the eastern end of the Rioja region near the town of Aldeanueva de Ebro. In a new bodega, winemaker Santiago Garde has rows of temperature controlled stainless steel fermenting vessels, 2500 oak casks and what he lovingly refers to as his 'Ferrari' of a bottling machine. This bodega was selected as the suppliers of the Adnams Rioja because of their flexibility in successfully combining a modern fruit driven style with old fashioned ageing in American oak.
