Dense purple colour, with leather, pepper, black cherry and crammed with rich, ripe tannins.
One of the great Chateauneuf estates, whose vineyards have been cultivated in an entirely organic way since the 1950s and is being run by the current generation of the Perrin family. With a high dependency on Mourvedre, this doesn't mean they relegate Grenache or Syrah to also-rans in their blend. Each vintage and therefore every years' blend, will vary. One of the few estates who use all 13 permitted varieties. In magnum, this fine vintage will last many years to come. Dense purple colour, with leather, pepper, black cherry and crammed with rich, ripe tannins. Drink 2016-2030.
