Fattoria San Donato is a farmhouse and a tiny medieval village set amidst the classic green hills of San Gimignano. Its position also offers a marvellous charming view on this unique town and its surrounding countryside. The Fenzi family, owners of the farm since 1932. The estate produces high-quality wines, extra-virgin olive oil, organic cereals and saffron. The viticulture is all organic and at 400 metres above sea level with a gentle wind coming from the sea makes the climate dry and sunny, with no mist or dampness; the soil (a mixture of clay and Pliocene sands) is ideal for vine-growing.

still a bit young and fiery but a very well made wine
