2009 Chinon Rosé, Domaine Charles Joguet, Loire
Beautiful balance of ripe cherries and clean fruit acidity
Joguets rosé is made by running off (bleeding) a certain quantity of juice from different vats, before the colour of the must becomes too pronounced. It is very slowly fermented in stainless steel vats at low temperature (15° to 17°C), to preserve all the aromas, an essential characteristic looked for in this style of wine. Malolactic fermentation is avoided, as the freshness of the wine should be preserved intact.

2004 Chinon 'Les Varennes du Grand Clos' Charles Joguet
Remarkably smooth and intense. A complex mouthful of black fruit compote.
Chinon Cuvee Terroirs, Charles Joguet
A great combination of juicy raspberry and redcurrant flavours and earthy vigour. For charcuterie.
