Adnams Copper House Dry Gin, 70cl 40% abv
The World's Best! Gin Trophy Winner at the International Wine & Spirit Competition 2013. This aromatic gin is infused with six botanicals creating classic notes of juniper alongside sweet orange and hibiscus.
Voted the World's Best Gin at the International Wine & Spirits Competition 2013, our aromatic gin is bursting with juniper, fresh lemon and orange notes as well as warming hints of anise. Adnams from grain to glass, our Copper House Gin is distilled from East Anglian malted barley at our artisan distillery in Southwold. Our copper pot stills are handmade and create a wonderfully flavoursome spirit. This smooth, rich spirit is then redistilled with six carefully chosen botanicals to impart their distinctive aromas and flavours.

Love this gin | 14 February 2017
Love this gin! Brought it as part of my husbands wedding present as we love it so much. Only problem with it is that the bottle does not last to long so it needs frequent replacing! If you are looking for a lovely gin, you have found it here! Well done Adnams!

Unbeatable! | 30 November 2016
I have tried a number of gins over the years (!!) and I have not managed to find one that beats this. Clean, fresh, pure... to die for!

A terrifically tempting tipple | 9 May 2013
I came to this gin by virtue of a friend and it really is a cracker - smooth enough for the driest of martinis but with enough depth of flavour to make the humble midweek G&T an event! Some other reviewers seem to have previously enjoyed Bombay Sapphire - a fashionable drink, admittedly, but not one that serious gin drinkers would entertain - but this stands head and shoulders above B.S. and is on a par with Tanqueray or Plymouth Navy - highly recommended!

Amazing gin that I'll be drinking forever | 23 February 2014
This gin came to my attention whilst drinking at a public house in Norwich. Enjoyed with a Fentimans tonic water and a slice of lime I was bowled over by the smooth notes and outstanding flavours. I could not believe what my taste buds were experiencing! This gin is truly top of the class. Superb, I have run out of superlatives to describe this product.

Great Gin! | 5 January 2011
Never known a gin to be so appreciated by everyone - this one truly has flavours that are worth trying. Different, wonderful, my friends enjoyed it and now I need a new bottle!

Holiday souvenir becomes year-round treat. | 30 November 2013
Just getting to the end of our first bottle, bought after a tasting at the shop during the summer. Unlike some 'holiday buys' this was a winner. Clean, fragrant; dismiss the tonic - it's smooth enough to drink neat and a fantastic pick-me-up. Will be ordering more, very soon! (For the record, I am a Gordon's girl usually (+tonic) & Brockmans if neat)

Superb flavour | 4 April 2014
Tried last week in a Norwich bar, with a slice of lime, cubed ice and Fever Tree tonic (Which doesn't contain much sugar or, worse, aspartame.) This was the finest Gin and Tonic my partner and I had ever tasted. I came to this site looking to buy on-line, as I could not find the product in any local Waitrose or Tesco. That omission needs remedying. Well done Adnams!

Amazing | 27 February 2015
I was given this by a friend who had received it as a present but doesn't like gin. I was only an occasional gin drinker, mainly when I wanted to avoid the calories in my beloved red wine. After tasting this though, I am converted! With a slice of lemon and some tonic, it is incredibly smooth and refreshing. And no sign of the headache I get from wine the next morning either! Cannot recommend highly enough.

I was given a bottle for Christmas. This Gin did not leave me feeling depressed the next day as other Gins have done and the flavour is wonderful. I won't be buying anything else

A real unique flavour which is both rich and deep. Tasted many individual gins and this is the best thus far! Excellent, well done and thank you!

Less is more | 23 September 2013
I agree with many of the other comments here. In particular I think that compared to say Bombay Sapphire or Hendricks this Gin is distinctive and solid. Many others by comparison are simply too complex and confusing in their delivery of flavours. A real winner!

Yum yum yum | 26 July 2011
Tried a bottle from the very first batch produced and have been back for more. I used to be a Bombay Sapphire drinker, but much prefer the Copper House gin. Can't quite work out why I can taste ginger beer when drinking it with tonic water as there is no ginger in the botanicals, but it's lovely. My new favourite.

Grandma we love you | 28 February 2011
It's a good clear, premium style gin. I found it almost overwhelmingly floral - probably the hibiscus, but it came across to me as a bit too much like Granny's aftershave (yes). I'd mix it with a hard tonic to calm down the forals..

Sapphire Beater | 11 November 2011
My favourite mixing gin (G&T etc) was Bombay Sapphire unitl this came along. Lovely

Not a bold statement | 9 January 2015
This IS truly the best Gin you will ever drink. A superb taste on the palate and tongue. Mixed or straight it is a winner. Do try, you won't be disappointed.

Impressed a life long gin fan | 17 September 2014
A bottle of this stunning gin was given to me, by friends, for my birthday. It tastes true to Adnams description and tastes unique whilst clearly also being gin. Sounds dumb, but I can imagine some who have never liked gin loving this whilst gin lovers won't be disappointed or think this doesn't taste enough like gin. One of the best birthday presses I had and now on my Christmas list both for myself and to buy friends.

I was a Bombay Sapphire drinker too & when I could afford it, Hendricks. But this is WELL worth paying that little extra for. Absolutely delicious.

Truly worth the 'Best Gin' Title | 6 September 2015
I'd never been a gin fan, preferring a Grey Goose vodka with my Fevertree tonic but after visiting Southwold (twice!) and tasting this divine specimen, I now drink nothing but 'The Worlds Best Gin!' It's fresh, uniquely floral without being overpowering, deeply refreshing and an absolute pleasure. My husband (who is a devout beer drinker) will happily drink and enjoy this (unfortunately, as I was hoping to keep it to myself!) I've converted several friends and only wish it was available to buy locally. (I was however pleasantly surprised to find it in a Wetherspoons bar!)

Absolutely delicious | 31 July 2015
This is my favourite gin in all the world. Sampled it at Adnams shop in Saffron Walden (perfect customer care here too). I love it with fever-tree tonic and it is also delicious on its own. My boyfriend (not a gin drinker) also loves it!! Had no idea Waitrose sold it so gonna check that out when I go back to Wiltshire.

Have visited Southwold many times and came this year but not enough time to visit Adnams. However, I got home and was thrilled to see my local Waitrose was selling this. We always have a G and T on Friday night and I look forward to this all week!!

Best gin ever | 14 May 2016
This is the best gin I have ever tasted If you like Bombay Sapphire you're going to love this! First time I bought it was when we were on holiday in Norfolk and visited Adnams shop at Holkham. In response to the lady who asked why she couldn't get it in Yorkshire she can - Waitrose stock it - thank goodness! Ensure you buy a top quality tonic water to go with it I use Naturally light Fever Tree Tonic

Yummy | 9 May 2016
Tried this on the recommendation of a lady shopping in Waitrose near Cambridge when on holiday. Sounded like she knew a thing or two about gin - well, she certainly did. The best gin I have ever tasted. Finished the 1st bottle far too quickly for decency and had to get another. Cant find it up here in Yorkshire - why not ??

Copperhouse-tastic. | 14 September 2016
Was given a bottle of copper house gin for a birthday present by my sister in law and husband. Have to say ... top gin and slightly different to the regular brands. Love the taste and was surprised when I looked up the botanicals that it was Hibiscus! If you haven't tried this ... get a bottle asap.

Will always know when I'm drinking Adnams gin. it has that unique coppery taste that we like. Other gins are just other gins.
