Givry Blanc, Domaine Guy Chaumont
Complex and long, packed with intense, buttery citrus and melon flavours balanced by crisp natural acidity.
Fine white Burgundy, complex and long, packed with intense, buttery citrus and melon flavours balanced by crisp natural acidity. Givry was the preferred wine of Henry IV, maybe because this town in southern Burgundy's Côte Chalonnaise (a low ridge running from Beaune, recently granted its own appellation) was the birthplace of his mistress Gabrielle d'Estrées. Guy Chaumont's Givry holdings are now certified organic by 'Ecocert'.

A chance meeting
An excellent wine that I was introduced to quite by accident. Lovely taste of butter with a citrus zing>>

Lovely
Nice honeyed oak, a great buy for a lower-end oaked white burgundy.
The Adnams Selection Fizz, Chardonnay, Brut
Our own lively Chardonnay fizz, for spontaneous celebrations, with fresh citrus flavours and exuberant bubbles.
The Adnams Selection White Burgundy, Cuvée Paul Talmard
Intense lemon, melon and white peach flavours; a stunningly fresh, characterful Chardonnay.
