New vintage just arrived! It couldn't be fresher! Crisp apple and lemon flavours in a minerally, fresh Sauvignon. Lovely with fresh crab.
New winemaker Alicia Rechner took over the reins here, and this is her first vintage, having joined the Seidelberg outfit in December 2009. Having made wine internationally,she has come back to South Africa & this idyllic estate, founded in 1680 on the southern slopes of the Paarlberg, and now owned by German émigré Roland Seidel. There's excellent weight and depth of crisp apple and lemon flavours in this minerally-fresh Sauvignon. Lovely with fresh crab.
