In response to Government initiatives to democratise the South African wine industry, eighteen formerly disadvantaged workers at the Wamakersvallei Winery in Wellington established the Inkquebela Phambili Empowerment Trust. In total, 87 people, including dependants, stand to benefit this Fairtrade accredited project. The Chenin is ripe and tropical with a zingy fruit filled palate and the Pinotage/Viognier is deliciously fruity with aromas of ripe berries, chocolate and vanilla. A great pair to enjoy throughout the year.
