Fresh as a just-snapped peapod, this is a crisp, citrus zesty Chilean Sauvignon Blanc perfect with fish or pre-dinner nibbles.
2007 Terra de Lobos Branco, Casa do Casal Branco, Ribatejo
Winemaker Jose Lobo de Vasconcelos uses local and international grape varieties to produce great value wines of real character. This fresh, limey example is an exciting blend of Fernao Pires and Sauvignon Blanc.
2007 Viognier, Le Jade, Vin de Pays d'Oc, France

Oak-free, this is a soft, satisfying, cherry-scented southern Rhône blend of Grenache and Syrah. Enjoy with traditional seasonal fare such as ‘devils on horseback’ – those little sausages wrapped in bacon.
2007 Navardia, Bodegas Bagordi, Rioja, Spain
Terrific value organic Rioja made from the Tempranillo grape variety. Spicy, toasty aroma, rich, warm red fruit flavours and a smooth, oaky finish. Good for large gatherings and dinner parties.

There is one day of the year where we can have a good guess at what we’ll all be eating, and can therefore choose with confidence the perfect wines for Christmas lunch. To start the day off in style, we have our very own Adnams Champagne, and have three glorious wines to accompany lunch. A premier cru Chablis and a gorgeous Claret, followed by an indulgent dessert wine. Finally, there’s Quinta do Crasto’s LBV port for a fine, generous and satisfying end to the day.
