It's nice to have a link between the building material of our store in Stamford and wine, it doesn't happen very often! Stamford is famous for its beautiful array of buildings made from Jurassic limestone, and if you're a fan of Chablis, then you will be tasting a little bit of the same geology - some Chablis vineyards plots are planted on top of Jurassic limestone. Anyway, geology aside, do come and visit us, meet the team, and explore our lovely wine range along with our hand-selected kitchenware.

Producteurs Plaimont Wine Tasting Dinner
7.30pm Reception for 8pm start.
Xavier from Plaimont will be the host for our next Wine tasting dinner at the Garden House Hotel, Stamford. We will be enjoying 7 wines from Producteurs Plaimont over a 5 course meal. Try wines made with more unusual grape varieties such as Gros Manseng, Petit Courbu and Pinenc. Tickets are £48 per head and strictly limited and are available from the store.

Summer Wine Tasting

It’s time to dust off the BBQ, and get the patio set out of the garage and stock up on wines for (what we hope will be) a scorching hot summer! We’re going to be tasting a selection of our favourites interspersed with a few newer wines to complement the season – Light, refreshing whites and BBQ Reds. Tickets £5 per person (to include nibbles) and are available in advance form the store. The £5 ticket price will be refunded against any single purchase of over £30 on the evening.

Tasting this years offering of wines to go with dinner on the Big Day! Sparkles as an aperitif, Whites, Reds, and dessert wines – everything you’ll need to complement the Christmas roast!
