Tim Gramp
We've now sold out of Tim's Grenache on-line, but there's still bottles available at your local store. As long as we don't sell out too quickly, it will be available to try over the weekend. It's a great bargain, so don't delay.
2005 Grenache, Tim Gramp
Wine Buyer Alastair Marshall's tasting notes: "Vibrant raspberry fruit with hints of white pepper and old-vine concentration. Great with spicy lamb".
Reach for this if you're cooking up something spicy. Well-made Grenache has a vibrant, peppery edge and you won't find one better built than Tim Gramp's. Heir to a winemaking dynasty dating back to 1847 (his forebears planted the first Barossa Valley vines, near now-notorious 'Jacob's Creek') Tim has carved a niche as South Australia's Grenache supremo. Successive vintages of this wine has always won plaudits for its resounding raspberry fruitiness and sheer oomph.
We recommend that you open up the bottle two hours before you enjoy it to release all the generous red and black fruit aromas.
Weekend Special Offer: Was £9.50, now £6.50.
