These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of this Website and by accessing this Website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.
We accept the following major payment cards only; Visa, Visa Debit and MasterCard.* Payment will be debited from your account upon receipt of your order. You are responsible for confirming that you are the legitimate holder of the credit/debit card and that your details are correct. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.
**We do not accept Maestro payments on our website. However, should you wish to use a Maestro card, you can do so using our telephone order service: 01502 727222 (Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm)
In the unlikely event that we have run out of an item on your order, we will contact you to arrange a replacement or refund.
Our delivery service is for addresses in mainland Britain.
Standard delivery takes up to two working days. Please note that during the Christmas period orders may take up to 5 working days to be delivered. Deliveries will be made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
Next Day Delivery
Orders must be placed before 12 noon to qualify for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday but before noon on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after noon on Friday will be delivered on the following Tuesday.
Please note: Next Day Delivery is not available for Gift Vouchers or Gift Cards.
Please note: Gift Vouchers and Gift Cards will be sent separately from other items on the same order.
Please check all goods before signing for them. Goods requested to be delivered unsigned for are left at your own risk.
If you are unfortunate enough to receive a damaged consignment, please write ‘Damaged' clearly on the consignment note beneath your signature and refuse the delivery.
If you have not received your order within 10 days of ordering, please advise us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call us on 01502 727222, 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Each Product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description which sets out additional Specific Conditions related to that Product including, without limitation, terms and conditions concerning estimated delivery dates and times, warranties, after-sales service and guarantees.
Adnams plc sell products containing intoxicating liquor. For clarity, a drink containing alcohol is classified as intoxicating if it contains more than 0.5% of alcohol by volume (0.5% abv). Vintages, labels and closures may vary. All wines are 75cl and all spirits and liquors 70cl unless otherwise stated.
Cancelling or amending your order
If you wish to cancel or amend your order please contact us as soon as possible by emailing email@example.com or calling 01502 727222. Please quote your order number and the date the order was placed. If it is too late for us to cancel or amend your order then please refuse the delivery. Once goods are returned to us we will reprocess the order or refund as appropriate.
A request for a return or replacement must be made within 14 days of receiving your delivery. Any goods requiring refund or replacement must be returned within 14 days of the request. Once the goods are returned to our warehouse we will refund the cost of the goods within 14 days.

Please note: Mini Casks and Kegs with a best before date of more than two weeks and from the date of delivery are not eligible for a refund.

In this way, we can avoid any problems surrounding what Adnams plc and you are expected to do. You confirm that, in agreeing to accept the Conditions, you have not relied on any representation save insofar as the same has expressly been made a term of these Conditions and you agree that you shall have no remedy in respect of any representation. Your Statutory Rights are not affected by these terms and conditions. Nothing in this Clause shall limit or exclude our liability in respect of any fraudulent or negligent misrepresentation whether or not such has become a term of the Conditions.
The Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
